Celebration of Indian Culture

“Immerse yourself in Indian culture through music, dance and more at the Tappmeyer Homestead in Millennium Park, 12:00-4:00 p.m. on August 11!

Listen to the sounds of Bollywood music while you browse a display of Indian clothing, including saris and lenhga cholis, as well as jewelry and scarves available for purchase starting at $15 by Hues India Boutique. Henna tattoos will be available for $10 per hand.

From 1:00-2:00 p.m., dancers from the Sri Lalitha Natalya Dance School will perform Indian classical dances, followed by Bollywood dancing performed by the JDG School of Dance.

This event takes place at the historic Tappmeyer Homestead in Millennium Park, located at 2 Barnes West Drive, just south of Olive Boulevard at the end of Barnes West Drive. Millennium Park is one of Creve Coeur’s largest parks and includes two playgrounds and a water splash pad.”
