The University City Jazz Festival is enjoying the success of it’s first venture at bringing together jazz enthusiasts together for a second straight year, to hear an eclectic list of musicians perform in Heman Park for free. The artists on the bill include Dawn Weber, the STL Metrobones, a reunion of the group Tracer, Bach to the Future, along with a tribute to Miles Davis with Maurice Carnes’ Hipjaz Quintet and Trio Tres Bien. The University Jazz festival is produced, & founded by Silverman Music & Autumn Hill Records. Michael & Rob Silverman, of Silverman Music, are also two of the musicians in the group Bach to the Future. The festival was held on September 22nd, 2012.
