A Suprise Out of this World for the Festus High School Rocketry Club Champions

The Festus High School Rocketry Club World Champions are surprised by the Space Museum in Bonne Terre, MO with a celebration in their honor and a day of mentoring from retired McDonnell Aircraft Engineers (known as the iconic Mercury Six Engineers for their design and building the Mercury and Gemini capsules that launched man into space and to orbit around the earth). It ended up being an unforgettable experience of mutual admiration of each other’s individual and team contributions to space exploration, advancement of STEM education and inspiration for the next generation of engineers.
