Advancing AgTech in St. Louis Through Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator & Danforth Plant Science

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is accelerating AgTech innovation into the marketplace through a collaboration with the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The Danforth Center helps early-stage companies de-risk their technologies and speed their path to market. The Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator is a technology incubator for cleantech startups. Startup companies selected receive up to $250,000 in a non-dilutive award to validate their technologies.
Two St. Louis startup companies, Peptyde Bio and Edison Agrosciences, are included in the innovation incubator’s 2022 cohort.
The goal of the Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator is to make agriculture more sustainable in the face of climate change and global food security challenges.
