At Home with Debbie Macomber

Debbie Macomber and her books are known worldwide. She’s hit the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list thirteen times, she’s had five books turned into Hallmark Channel movies and she has her own magazine. Hard to believe she didn’t learn to read until she was in the fifth grade and struggled to earn a high school diploma. In this conversation from Debbie’s home office, the “Official Storyteller of Christmas” talks about her rocky start in school and in becoming an author, her dyslexia and how it affects her writing, the famous librarian who inspired her, knitting (she even shows off her “Whatever the Weather” project) and how the name of her characters and books can often change.
