Bear Awareness Weekend at the St. Louis Zoo

    Bear Awareness Weekend is a free event presented by the St. Louis Zoo March 23rd through 25th, 2018. Visitors will be able to learn zoological and conservational facts about a different bear species from knowledgeable keepers who will be present at different specified bear’s habitat every day of the event from 11am to 1pm.

    Bear Awareness Weekend starts Friday, March 23 by highlighting the smallest bear species, the Malayan Sun Bear. Saturday, March 24 focuses on the intelligent Andean Bear. And the event wraps up Sunday, March 25 by celebrating the ever popular Grizzly Bear. The event is free and open to the public. For more information please visit www.stlzoo.org.
