Betty’s Books is a family-friendly comic and graphic novel bookstore in Webster Groves, MO. Their shelves are filled with everything from popular superhero comics from Marvel and DC, to Japanese manga, graphic novels written for tweens, comics by independent publishers, and storybooks for babies. The store also places a strong focus on giving local creators a place to sell and promote their work. Every first Saturday in May they release a free “Community Zine” in honor of Free Comic Book Day. This special publication showcases works by local artists of all ages and professional standings.
