Big Ideas – Meeting Grand Challenges

On Thursday, November 16, the Danforth Center hosted a Conversations Series event, “Big Ideas – Meeting Grand Challenges,” featuring three teams of Danforth Center scientists. The teams engaged in a friendly competition to communicate their ideas in creative, and inspiring ways. Each team will make a pitch for a Big Idea that extends their current research. The projects aim to develop solutions that address big challenges in agriculture and the environment. A panel of interactive judges will select a top team, which will be announced at the end of the program. The winning team will receive a grant to pursue their idea at the Danforth Center. Prepare to be engaged, entertained and inspired by some of the Center’s most talented scientists.
