Black Girl Culture At Exhibit at STLCC-FV

Contemporary Art Gallery at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley hosts the Black Girl Culture Art Exhibit. This photographic exhibition is the brainchild of photographer and youth organizer Scheherazade Tillet, who founded a nonprofit that uses art to inspire young women and protect girls from violence. Tillet, along with STLCC-FV’s Gallery Director Deb Jenkins and Graphic Communications Program Coordinator Neko Pilarcik-Tellez present a bit of insight on this collection.

Black Girl Culture will continue at Contemporary Art Gallery, located in the IR building of the STLCC-FV campus at 3400 Pershall Rd, Ferguson, MO, through April 7, 2017.
