Annie England Noblin will have you reminiscing about the good ole days with your girlfriends in this conversation about her latest novel “Maps for the Getaway.” A special girl friendship she had in high school inspired her to write the book; a friendship formed over a shared love of boy bands *NSYNC and Hanson. Her book’s characters suffer a loss before taking a road trip to see one of their favorite bands, Boyz United. Noblin talks about the real life tragedy she drew on to write those scenes plus what it’s like to create a fictional boy band.
