CommUNITY Arts Festival 2018

The second annual CommUNITY Arts Festival took place on Saturday September 8th, 2018. Founded by Paige Walden-Johnson to bring the community together to communicate, educate and heal the effects of violence through art from painting to dance to yoga and more. This event began after St. Louis Dancer, Rain Stipec, was shot in the back 8 times last February. In total the event raised over $10,000 to put towards Rain’s surgeries. Paige decided to continue the event as a non-profit considering the need of healing and expression against violence in the St. Louis community.
