Computer Science for All Summit 2017 at Washington University in St. Louis

The federal government called for a mandate on computer science in schools during the Reagan Administration. Three decades and five presidents later, it still hasn’t happened despite the fact computers are now vital in our lives. CSforALL Consortium is working with schools to change this. CSforALL is the national hub for the Computer Science for All movement. The group says if the Computer Science for ALL initiative is not successful, we could miss out on the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates. They believe computer science education is more than just a need, they say it’s a civil right.
