2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Miranda v. Arizona. From that decision sprang the clear wording that all police officers must now provide criminal suspects regarding their right against self-incrimination and their right to an attorney. To commemorate the anniversary and discuss the impacts of this far-reaching decision on citizens, the police, and the courts, we invite you to view Constitution Day 2016: The Miranda Decision.
