Houska Gallery is currently hosting two new solo exhibits.
The first is a collection of new paintings by Craig Carlisle. He is well know for his series of heads, that are sought after by art collectors around the world. But fans of his art will be in for a surprise when they see the paintings making up this exhibit, as he has used this body of work to explore a softer looking dry brush technique.
And Andrea Coates is a St. Louis based artist using photography and mixed media collage to explore ideas of beauty and femininity. Her works include elements she’s pulled from various fashion magazines and photos she’s taken in her own studio.
