This I Love Jazz program features the saxophone. We travel to the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Whitaker Music Festival to share a performance with world renowned baritone saxophonist, Hamiet Bluiett. Building Blocks of Jazz visits Saxquest, a one-of-a-kind shop and museum in South St. Louis to learn about the history of the saxophone. On Jazz Gems, we feature DIVA, an all-women jazz group recorded back in 2002. And we tag along with Hamiet Bluiett as he shares his commitment to jazz education working with students from the Sunrise Conservatory.
