Gene Slay’s Girls and Boys Club: Making a Difference

Gene Slay Girls and Boys Club is committed to the academic and athletic excellence of each child. The club offers after-school and summer programs, with courses taught by certified teachers. The goal is to meet the needs of at-risk youth through academics, leadership building, health, athletics, and the arts. Because of the club, a path to college has opened for some students in and around the city’s Dutchtown neighborhood.
