This year is the 15th anniversary of 9/11 and the theme is “youth,” looking forward to a more harmonious St. Louis.

“HEC-TV is excited to partner with Arts & Faith St. Louis for such a great cause,” said HEC-TV director Dennis Riggs. “Our mission is to promote arts, education, and culture in the St. Louis area, and that is exactly what this concert aims to do.”

    Origins of the concert

On the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 tragedies, a dedicated group of St. Louisans decided to take action to promote a more harmonious community by creating a commemoration in music in September 2011. Now in its sixth year, this joyous concert has become an important St. Louis institution and is known throughout the Midwest and around the country.

“We invite the St. Louis community to join us for an evening of song, celebration and solidarity,” says Carolyn Losos, Chair of Arts & Faith – St. Louis. “St. Louis is home to a beautiful array of religious traditions, with roots from around the globe. It’s very moving to see us all on stage together in support of the city we love.”
