ST. LOUIS, MO – The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum (IPHF) announced the addition of Jason Gray as the Director of Facilities and Exhibitions.

Jason Gray has served the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum as a member of the Exhibitions and Collections Committees since the Museum opened in 2013. Jason has additionally contributed his time and talents to IPHF as a curator for the recent exhibitions, “Anna Kuperberg’s South Side” and “St. Louis Shoots: Contemporary Street Photographers from St. Louis”.

Commenting on the addition of Jason Gray to the Museum’s leadership, IPHF Executive Director John Nagel said, “Jason brings a high level of competency to IPHF. His ability to attend to the many installation demands we face with each exhibition is matched by his curatorial skills. His expertise in handling works of art complements his professional preparation and knowledge of historic and contemporary photographic artists. He is a superb asset to IPHF.”

Gray is the author of the blog, Hours of Idleness, which was named the “Best Arts Blog” by the Riverfront Times in 2013. He is also the creator of Photo Flood Saint Louis, an organization designed to enhance and promote the local photography community, and to provide a photographic map to the city. Furthermore, Gray is a Digital Photography Instructor in the Continuing Education Program of St. Louis Community College.

Gray holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Webster University.  Previously, he worked with the Saint Louis Art Museum as an Art Preparator and as the Photography and Image Rights Manager, where he assisted in the installation of the Museum’s diverse objects and oversaw its collection photography and image distribution.
