Opening at the up and coming community art space in Dutchtown, Wildfruit Projects, is Dail Chamber’s show Figure/Ground. In this show, Dail explores her ancestral connection to North St. Louis. She uses remnants of vacant homes, found items and spiritual matter to create Figure/Ground as an experience as well as sculpture and documentation of the land. Dail Chambers is an environmentalist so the use of found objects are at the forefront of her art practice. We speak to Dail to receive a closer look into her works as well as Kentaro Kumanomido, founder of Wildfruit Projects, to learn more about this unique new space.
