For many years the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) has presented, supported, and celebrated the art of our time. Kelley Walker: Direct Drive, their newest installation, features an artist whose work embodies CAM’s mission to create meaningful engagement. Kelley Walker’s art is bold, experimental, and provokes the viewer to question how the concept of identity relates to history and society. Jeffrey Uslip, CAM’s Deputy Director for Exhibitions & Programs / Chief Curator, gives HEC-TV a little insight into Walker’s first museum solo show which runs from September 16th to the end of the year.
