Through metallic, shimmery, and reflective sculpture, Kevin Kao explores the phenomenon of breathing and manifests air into physical form in “with Breath” at the Gallery at the Kranzberg in Grand Center. For inspiration, he draws on the historical and cultural roots of the medium of clay in his ceramics in tandem with both a scientific and a humanistic fascination with breath.
