Bells signify important events in our lives from new life to death. One of the oldest and last remaining bell companies is right here in St Louis. The McShane Bell Company was founded in 1855 in Baltimore Maryland. It was moved to St Louis 5 years ago. The McShane Bell Company’s mission is to keep the bells ringing. The company services some 100 thousand bells with the McShane name all over the world. They are found in clock towers, churches and carillons. The bells it is said connects with the human heart giving all those who hear them hope. A musical instrument of sort that has survived the test of time.
