Madeline Martin’s “The Librarian Spy”

An author of historical fiction and historical romance, Madeline Martin talks with HEC-TV about her 37th book, “The Librarian Spy.” Inspired by the librarians who were enlisted by the American government to go to neutral countries to gather intelligence, Martin tells the tale of two young women who risk everything as they use the power of words to fight back against the Nazis. As the battle in Europe rages, the two heroines find themselves connecting through coded messages and discovering hope in the face of war.
