Mercy-St. Louis Emergency Management Technology

Mercy Hospital-St. Louis is one of the few hospitals in the country providing police, fire and emergency personnel with an instantaneous electronic 2D map of its facilities. Mercy-St. Louis can send live video feeds to crews en route to an emergency. Mercy is applying computer-aided design, also known as CAD, in an innovative way in order to provide critical details in the event of a hostage situation, a fire emergency, or structure collapse due to a natural disaster. Mercy is expending this technology to all Mercy hospitals and facilities. Already, 302 Mercy facilities are electronically mapped.
