Mississippi River Culture and Social Conflict Come Together in Lost in Space (After Huck)

    The Saint Louis Art Museum hosts Shimon Attie’s site specific installation of Lost in Space (After Huck). The exhibit offers an immersive experience reflecting local culture and social issues. Attie is the recipient of the 2016-2017 Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Fellowship, which includes a residency at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and an exhibition in the Currents series, the Museum’s long-running program showcasing contemporary art. Lost in Space will be open from April 1, 2017 to June 25, 2017 in Gallery 210 in the main building.
