MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO – The Missouri Aviation Historical Society is dedicated to honoring the aviators, designers, and entrepreneurs who have kept Missouri on the leading edge of aviation technology for over 150 years. We meet monthly at Creve Coeur (1H0) airport in Maryland Heights, MO. Whether you fly or drive in, please plan to join us on Thursday, August 21st as Boeing Test  Pilot  Dana  “Perk”  Perkins  will  bring  us up to speed on the EA-18G Growler program. It has been 5 years since the “Grizzly”  as  the  jet  is  known  on  the  radio,  became  operational  with  VAQ-132 Scorpions. The EA-18G is the only manned tactical jammer left in the U.S. arsenal, and Boeing recently delivered the 100th Growler to the U.S. Navy. We meet in the hangar adjacent to the terminal building, and start at 7:00 PM. Admission is free, with light refreshments being served. For directions or more information on our Society, please visit us at http://moavhist.org/ Hope to see you there!
