One on One with Daniel Pink

What do you picture when you think of sales or selling?  Is it a man in a plaid suit and ugly tie doing everything but standing on his head to sell you a used car?  A recent study by bestselling author Daniel Pink found that’s what a lot of people visualize.  But, here’s the crazy thing: you could have pictured yourself or just about anyone you know.  That’s because while the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports one in nine Americans work in sales, Pink argues the rest of us sell on a daily basis, too.  In this one on one conversation, Pink gives examples from teachers trying to get students to learn to parents trying to get their kids to behave.  He also advises us on how to be more effective in sales, and in turn more effective in our everyday activities.
