Parents and Adults Impacting Education, February 2014

Our show this month covers a variety of ways that parents and adults impact the education of all our learners.

The student-produced Ladue View is up first. This month, our second live to tape show features stories produced by first year broadcast technology students. Stories include a look at a tasty local hotspot, a profile of what it’s like inside the world of fraternal twins, and we find out about a true 21st Century learning opportunity for students who are building robots.

The second part of the show features our district communications program Ladue Schools Today. Two Ladue parents, Mark Shevitz and Carolyn Jaeger, who have been incredibly active during the time their students have been attending Ladue Schools, share their insight, memories and advice for other parents to get involved.

The last segment of our show features two extraordinary educators at our Ladue Early Childhood Center and Spoede Elementary School, who are making a major impact on the early development  for our young students.
