Regional Arts Commission: Artists Support Grants Applications Now Available

    RAC_logo_colorST. LOUIS (August 8, 2014) – The Regional Arts Commission (RAC) invites eligible St. Louis artists of all disciplines to apply for the individual Artists Support Grants. Grant amounts range from $500-$3,000. Deadline for this round of applications is September 17, 2014. 

    The RAC Artists Support Grants provide direct funds for artists’ projects, needs, and creative opportunities in all disciplines.  Direct support enables diverse artists of all disciplines to advance their careers and to complete creative projects. It is designed to be flexible and accessible and to encourage creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustained commitment to artistic work.http://racstl.org/grant/artists-support-grant/ 

    Who is Eligible for RAC Artists Support Grants?

    • Artists living in St. Louis City or County for at least one year with documentation
    • Artists 19 years or older
    • Artists who have exhibited, performed, presented and/or published artistic work in a public context within the last three years.
    • Artists not enrolled as full-time undergraduate students
    • Artists who have not received a RAC Artists Support Grant or RAC Artists Fellowship within the past one year. 

    These grants are for individual artists and 501c3 status or fiscal sponsorship is not required. Artists can register for on-line applications and fill out the eGrant application at http://racstl.org/grant/artists-support-grant/ .
