Artist Ria Unson discusses her work in her new exhibit “Stories We Are Told,” on display at the Angad Arts Hotel in Grand Center from June 3-August 27, 2022. By combining pages from classic children’s literature with her old family photographs, Ria re-contextualizes stories we are all familiar with to comment on the history and legacy of American imperialism on Filipino culture.
