SLAM Gives Saint Louis Mummies a New Home

    The Saint Louis Art Museum will open its newly renovated Egyptian Art Gallery to the public on Friday, December 15, 2017. Gallery 313 will house three mummies, along with other artifacts from ancient Egypt and two interactive displays. Previously located in decorative arts, the move to a permanent home has been four years in the making. Curator Lisa Çakmak discusses SLAM’s unique collection.
