“What’s in a Name?” Explores the Many Nicknames of St. Louis

The newest exhibit at the Missouri History Museum explores seven nicknames the city of St. Louis has had in it’s over 250 yearlong history. The exhibit “What’s in a Name?” was organized by the Missouri Historical Society’s Teens Make History Exhibitors. This work-based learning program for local high school students not only helps the youths involved develop professional skills, but has also yielded an outstanding presentation through which the St. Louis community can better understand its local history. In addition, visitors can see weekly performances by the Teens Make History Players, which act as though provoking companion pieces to the exhibits.
This exhibit continues through May 17, 2020. For more info please visit www.mohistory.org.
