The Art Of Shopping; Using Sculpture to Save a Mall

    In this edition of Schankman’s St. Louis, we go mall walking with local sculptor Don Wiegand, who has moved his studio to Chesterfield Mall. The management invited him to move into a vacant clothing store, hoping to give shoppers a new reason to visit the financially troubled mall. But they got more than they bargained for when he also brought along his collection of antiques and tropical plants too.
