The Gallery at the District is currently hosting the James Michael Smith Memorial Exhibit. When Gallery Owner Michael Staenberg learned his longtime friend and St. Louis Artist James Michael Smith had passed away he worked with the artist’s family to coordinate this exhibit to honor his incredible body of work and legacy. In addition, a percentage of the sales of artwork and print reproductions from this show will be donated to a university visual arts scholarship to be established in the artist’s name.
