The Homeless Veteran Photography Project

International Photography Hall of Fame opened their new spring exhibition, In the Faces of Patriotism: The Homeless Veterans Project. The portrait photography is captured by Jerry Tovo who has been a commercial photographer and artist in St. Louis since the early 1970’s. Tovo has given a voice to these veterans through his photography. He hopes to awaken the American conscience. There are more than 40,000 U.S. veterans living on the streets or in shelters on any given night. This exhibition shows the price of avoiding this statistic. That price is written on the faces of the veterans. The public can view In the Faces of Patriotism from March 30th till June 11th, 2022.
