Millet and Modern Art: From van Gogh to Dalí explores the lasting impact of the French artist Jean-François Millet. The Saint Louis Art Museum brings together iconic masterworks from around the world in a visual essay showing the significance of Millet’s legacy on artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Georges Seurat, Claude Monet, Winslow Homer, Salvador Dalí, and so many more. The museum teamed up with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Museé d’Orsay in Paris to bring this remarkable exhibition together. Millet and Modern Art runs through May 17, 2020.
