The Possible Lasting Effects of Societal Tragedies on Future Leaders

With the Sandy Hook tragedy still on student minds, we begin a new investigative series into the possible effects of societal tragedies on future leaders, screen student film trailers in anticipation of our 4th annual FilmFest, and a CSPAN contest entry, “On Education” by Senior Samantha Shanker.

Later, Ladue Schools Today discusses the topic of achievement, as we learn how to confront the complicated challenge of providing academic support and interventions to help all students reach their potential. We also introduce as a new feature to our program this month, the Alumni Spotlight. Alumni have gone on to excel as filmmakers, and we’re excited to bring you some of their work. Our first episode will focus on a new documentary from Abby Sophir, class of 2010.
