The Pulitzer Arts Foundation Shines a Light on the Art of Medardo Rosso

The Pulitzer Arts Foundation’s “Medardo Rosso: Experiments in Light and Form” highlights an artist relatively unfamiliar in popular culture, yet instrumental in the evolution of modern sculpture. The exhibition explores the “artists’ artist” and his use of light as a medium primarily in sculpture, but also through photography and drawing. 30 sculptures, 40 photographs, and 30 drawings make this exhibit of Rosso the largest in the United States. The Pulitzer will show “Medardo Rosso: Experiments in Light and Form” from November 11, 2016 through May 13, 2017.
