The Riot Show at Kranzberg Arts Center takes on civil unrest, police brutality

The Riot Show is a collaboration of visual artist Michael Faris and poet Unique Hughley based on the civil unrest that continues to be evident in our society. Hughley’s words express the discomfort and fears represented by the conditions in Faris’ visual montages. Each has been influenced by the protests in Ferguson and continue to express frustration with the continuation of similar incidents all over the U.S. and around the world.
