Theaters in the Pandemic

    The St. Louis theater scene is known for being a vibrant part of the community … ort least it was, until the spring of 2020 when the COVID-19 Pandemic exploded throughout the world and everything came to a screeching halt.

    The story was the same everywhere, from big venues like the Muny which had to shut down for the first time in its 104-year history to smaller ones like Stray Dog Theatre, and everyone in between.

    But the pandemic also forced those involved to dig deep into their creative cores to come up with some new and different ways to keep their audiences entertained.
