Black Girls Do STEM gives St. Louis area middle and high school girls a scientific future. Facing the reality of few African-Americans in STEM careers, a St. Louis scientist decided to work to change that trend. Cynthia Chapple strives to provide middle school aged black girls opportunity to learn, create, and build confidence in their abilities to become STEM professionals.
