Emerson Zooline Railroad Celebrates 60 Years of Memories – and a New Electric Train

    One of the most beloved attractions at the St. Louis Zoo turned 60 this year! The Emerson Zooline Railroad is the largest miniature railroad operation in North America and has served over 41 million zoo guest since its opening day in 1963. The railroad also welcomed a new addition this year: an electric train named after abolitionist and educator, Mary Meachum.
