3-D Hologram of Patient’s Heart Floating in Mid-Air is a Heartbeat Away for St. Louis Startup

    SentiAR is developing a 3D visualization platform for interventional surgeries, using real-time holography of the patient’s anatomy. A husband and wife team at Washington University in St. Louis created the software using Microsoft HoloLens. Forming SentiAR, Inc., the company’s holographic platform will initially be used in catheter ablation procedures treating cardiac arrhythmia. SentiAR’s mission is to transform interventional procedures with the 3D augmented reality platform featuring real-time holographic visualization of the patient’s actual anatomy and catheter location, “floating” over the patient.
