What began as an experiment by St. Louis filmmaker and musician – Brian McClelland – turned into 5 seasons of Live from the Boom Room – a music video series he shot with more than 100 different local artists in his basement studio. McClelland is a former 911 dispatcher and still works for the St. Louis County Police Department as a digital media specialist while also running a successful production company called Blip Blap Video. He is also a musician and created the Boom Room series as a way to give back to that community.
To celebrate this body of work, a variety of performers included in the series came out to play at Off Broadway.
