Making It: What Today’s Kids Need for Tomorrow’s World

Educator, author and social worker Stephanie Malia Krauss knows what it’s like to face an uncertain future. As a young teen growing up in New Jersey, she struggled to survive the family, financial and social challenges that millions of children continue to face on their way to adulthood. Later, as a former high school director, she also saw what worked and didn’t work to help them get there.

In “Making It: What Today’s Kids Need for Tomorrow’s World,” Krauss shares what she’s learned on the front lines of America’s education and advocacy systems to help educators, leaders, and parents become “currency builders” for today’s children. “Making It” is also the first book to address the new realities of the COVID-19 landscape.
