Taylor Geospatial Institute

    Several civic, academic and government institutions are joining forces to make St. Louis the nation’s geospatial technology hub, through the creation of the Taylor Geospatial Institute.

    Its mission is to promote science research through innovative collaboration and partnership and developing technologies to address world challenges in food security, health systems, and national security, as well as areas such as workforce and talent training.

    The Taylor Institute partners include St. Louis University, Washington University, The Danforth Plant Science Center, Harris-Stowe State University, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, University of Missouri – Science and Technology, University of Missouri- St. Louis and the University of Missouri – Columbia
