“Buzz Spector: Alterations” at the Saint Louis Art Museum

At the heart of Buzz Spector’s art lies the torn page. He dissects the written word in the most literal sense and reworks the remnants into new creations. Spector also deconstructs and manipulates other found objects such as photography and yarn to examine cultural history, nostalgia, and perception with a focus on aesthetics. “Buzz Spector: Alterations” at the Saint Louis Art Museum showcases his work from the early 1970s to today. The exhibition will run through May 31, 2021. For more information go to www.slam.org.
