“Impact” is the powerful story a a church youth group in Kentucky, coming back from an outing and being hit by a drunk driver in a pick-up truck. Twenty-seven people were killed, including twenty-three children, on May 14, 1988. Co-producer/writer Daniel Blake Smith brings us the story of the survivors and the families who lost loved ones and the larger story of the unsafe bus, which essentially exploded on contact with the truck.
