Meet Lisa Melandri, The New Director of STL’s Contemporary Art Museum, September 2013

Lisa Melandri is the director of the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, a place she’d like you to come to and hang out. She’s a brilliant new leader in the St. Louis arts scene: a native of Boston, a graduate of Harvard and a former deputy director for exhibitions and programs at the Santa Monica Museum of Art. On the heels of her first year at CAM, HEC-TV Executive Director Dennis Riggs sat down for a revealing and candid conversation with Lisa. She has a personality that is as sunny as California sunshine and a passion for making CAM an open, friendly and welcoming space.
