Live From The Sheldon continues with the Joey DeFranscesco Trio, Nov. 14

HEC Media and The Sheldon are pleased to announce the second episode of “Live From The Sheldon,” featuring the Joey DeFrancesco Trio on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.

A free monthly, virtual concert series spotlighting some of today’s top musicians, “Live From The Sheldon” is produced by HEC Media and will stream on both The Sheldon’s and HEC’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and will broadcast on HEC’s cable channels: 989 Spectrum and 99 U-verse.

Making this “Live From The Sheldon” installment even more dynamic, a limited capacity live audience will be in attendance during the performance.

Master Hammond B-3 organist Joey DeFrancesco performs with an intensity and skill that solidifies his place as the rightful heir to greats such as Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff. With a foundation rooted in jazz, blues and funk, the four-time Grammy® Award-nominee, with more than 30 recordings as a leader under his belt, has received countless Jazz Journalist Association awards and other accolades worldwide, including being inducted into the inaugural Hammond Organ Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame in 2016, and topping the Critics Polls in DownBeat magazine eleven times over the past fifteen years and the Readers Polls every year since 2005. DeFrancesco also hosts a weekly program on SiriusXM Radio’s Real Jazz channel titled “Organized.”
